One of our highest priorities at Perfect Pet Resort is environmental responsibility. We are proud of the comfortable and environmentally responsible resort experience we provide for our guests. Perfect Pet Resort's on-going green initiatives include:
- RECYCLING --- we are taking part in the Anne Arundel County 50/50 Challenge program to recycle at least 50% of what we throw away
- ECO-FRIENDLY building construction --- we were the first (and are still one of the only) animal care facilities in the country to be built using insulated concrete forms which enhance energy efficiency. Most importantly, no trees were killed to construct our building
- GREEN CLEANING --- we utilize eco-friendly cleaning supplies in the animal care areas in place of the bleach and other harsh cleaners typically used
- PROACTIVE --- we are currently researching both geothermal and solar power options to increase our energy efficiency
